LVEF is very proud of what we have done to enhance the educational experience for students, teachers, administrators, and staff District-wide. Read on to learn about the programs and services LVEF funded in 2009.
- Contributed $255,000 to fund programs across the District*
- Held the first annual Benefit for the Arts Concert, which showcased the incredible talent of the District's students and delighted an audience of over 1,600 enthusiastic members
- Created the College Application & Acceptance Program (CAAP) to assist students and their families to successfully navigate the college admissions process
- Started an Arts Endowment
- Continued funding Naviance, the online program which helps students develop a course, college, and career plan
- Formed an Advisory Board to work more closely with the District
- Formed a Revenue Group to explore immediate, short, and long term revenue-generating activities for both one-time and sustainable funding
- Increased community participation in the Foundation by expanding our Board from five members to nine.
- Implemented an online registration process for our high school summer school program, which we offered for the 7th consecutive year, serving over 900 students

- Create Middle School Master Arts Institute
- Create High School Master Arts Units
- Add Indian Hills HS Assimilation to the Arts Program
- Support the Naviance Program
- Send high school teachers and administrators to the Model Schools Conference
- Create the College Application & Acceptance Program (CAAP) for 8th-12th grade
